We make ourselves available at the briefing, on June 26th, to answer all questions and concerns.
You can email [email protected] with questions; but we will not be on standby, and we do not guarantee a timely response during the 48-hour production.
We would love to screen all films submitted, but we are limited by time. We will screen as many as we can, but ultimately with time constraints we typically screen the top 10 films.
However, ALL films will live permanently on the YouTube channel.
We understand teams are competing from Las Cruces, Juarez and all over El Paso, so we’ve chosen to allow electronic submission on Sunday.
With an electronic submission, Internet speed is a factor. The 48-hours should end at 7pm on Sunday, but we provide a 2-hour grace period. If we do not receive the electronic version by 9pm, your film is not eligible for cash prizes.
We recommend getting familiar with format requirements, and practicing exporting on your software so you have an idea of how much time it takes to export, compress and send an 8-minute film. Click here to view format requirements.
